The Freedoms Foundation site at Valley Forge would have been ideal for the Rally had it been bigger with more parking.

Thousands were turned away because of lack of space.Tribune 7 and I stayed until near the end and Route 23 which runs through the park was still jammed with traffic and hikers, many carrying signs.

We got there early and watched as others tried to get in as we were leaving.

I asked a state trooper for a crowd estimate and he wouldn't even guess. I heard later estimates of anywhere from 6,000 to 15,000.

For those of us who were able to attend it was a wonderful day!

We met Freepers --Baseballmom, Abner, Victim of Circumstance, Taxman, and they were just as nice in person as they are on the net. I am sorry that we did not meet the many other Freepers who were there. We should have a plan to meet one another at the next affair.

The American Flag balloon went up, the signs were great, and we met heroes galore--including several decorated World War ll infantrymen. Let me repeat myself it was a wonderful day. I am sorry for all those who missed it.

Isn't it wonderful the numbers that have turned out IN SUPPORT of President Bush?! Wouldn't it be wonderful if as much attention was focused on 'us' as on 'them'.

Thank-you for the Valley Forge Rally report. Isn't it *awesome* to participate in something like that and also meet fellow FReepers? I had the same pleasure last Saturday in Centennial Park, Atlanta. Our crowd was estimated to be 20-25,000. So breath-taking to have so many flag-wavers in one place at one time!
