Since they're virtual, she probably won't get jealous. But watch it! ;) She's a red head.

Technically, it's over five years that I've been on FR. I lurked for two years (Jan 1998) before registering. I came here from Drudge during the IMPOTUS years. I saw Drudge remove FR from his links, but FR still has him linked. And FR is still better for breaking news--and links.

In the five years I've been on FR, my kids have gone from 5 to 10; 8 to 13; and 11 to 16. I've gone from 42 to 47.
I'm pleased that conservatism has come into ascendency, but I don't count on it continuing. The liberals are truly persistent, with the faith of true believers. If we do nothing, they will slip back into power. The country is aging, which is a conservative trend, but also acquiring immigrants, who often start out liberal.

FR has become my main web site. It is my home for news and comment. I didn't watch TV on the morning of 9/11; I stayed at my desk and read FR.

Lately, I've been linking to FR from the Yahoo bulletin boards. I cite the Iraqi/al Qaeda links. Some just ignorantly dismiss FR. So I link to the original articles.

I'm pleased to be on one of the top 500 sites in the Internet. Excelsior!
