We may be #1, but Iraq is number 2, if you get my drift.

Then he will die. It's my number one choice for what to do to him.

That statement sounded like it was cribbed from DUh.com or bartcop.

Yes, he is. In a pine box or to Gitmo. Too bad I'm still not in the service and the first one there to retrieve his body. I'd put it in an empty lard box for shipping.

I guess Saddam technically isn't going anywhere if you believe in the law of the conservation of matter.

great deception on the part of W I think, unnamed officials leaking this "may" and "might" give notice when he "may not" and "might not" either.

It's not like we did not see this coming. Who really on FR or with an IQ over 50 really thought Saddam was gonna leave???!?! Please..this is the biggest show of his life...you think he is not gonna show up for it?

"Saddam not going any where"

A prediction - he'll pull a Noriega during the siege of Bahdad - if he survives long enough. He'll seek asylum in an embassy, maybe the French one in Baghdad. It might be all pre-arranged with the French.

Fine. Dispense with this deadline nonsense and just go before he does something premptive and muddies up the waters.

If this statement is repeated after Bush delivers his ultimatum, will that allow us to attack before the ultimatum's time is up?

His center of gravity might not move either -- although his density is likely to decrease by orders of magnitude.

Bush has turned America into a joke...

This'll add a whole new meaning to the term "punch line."
