I agree. Also, as conservatives, shouldn't we respect the right of someone who decides to tell his or her story, whether we think it's distasteful or not? Your point about the fact that a movie will be made with or without input from the family is a good one that had not occurred to me.

I honestly don't care if they make a movie or write a book or not. It has no bearing on what has happened up to this point.

Respect the right; yes. Respect actually doing it; no way.

If they do this, I will lose a lot of respect for the parents.
