Those who do not believe that Republican control of Congress for the past four years has produced any benefits should go to the THOMAS website and look at S. 156. This bill is Senator Daniel Patrick Moynihans latest version of one of his favorite gun-control schemes. The bad news is that he wants an outright ban on all 9mm, .32 caliber, and .25 caliber ammunition. In advocating a ban, he has moved from his previous position of advocating a 1000% tax on these bullets. The difference between these two positions is meaningless.
Senator Moynihan has been in the Senate for a long time and has finally broken free of the credibility that he had almost built. Long ago, he started to build credibility by recognizing that welfare would ruin our society by destroying the role of parents in poor families. In more recent years, he justified his vote for the partial birth abortion (PBA) ban by stating that PBA was too close to infanticide. In 1998, Moynihan admitted on This Week with Sam and Cokie that if Bill Clinton obstructed justice and lied under oath, he should be removed from office. However, when he reached the moment of truth, he showed his lack of integrity by voting against the articles of impeachment.
Moynihan has always been an enemy of the American citizens right to self-defense. He was a zealous proponent of the Brady Bill, the Crime Bill, and the push to keep everyday Americans from having Winchester Black Talon bullets. The election of Bill Clinton in 1992 opened new opportunities for him to attack our Second Amendment rights, and one of his favorite schemes is to keep us from having access to ammunition. Source. Those posters who are bending over to praise him should read your post several times or at least read it until they understand it.
If Sara Brady dropped dead right now, my only reaction would be to think, "What took her so long?" Likewise Moynihan is an enemy of freedom. I'd have the same response
