I saw Geraldo's segment last night--I agree with your post, and I thought it was VERY interesting and well done. Yes, Geraldo has his trade-mark vocabulary and mannerism, but aside from that I think he did a great job of portraying a "just war" angle, while showing much support for our troops. The segment was a composite of our Reservist Reconstruction task force, the history of the buddhist statues destroyed by the taliban, the local Afghan people (decendants of Ghengis Khan), and air time for troops to send a message home.
His segment appeared unscripted and I give FoxNews credit for allowing him a freelance style.

I still say that he would perform unnatural acts on a camel to have had the interview with Sadaam. He will forever carry the stench of kissing Klinton's A$$ for so many years in my book. He and Ratner are a waste of FNC payroll.

I agree that Geraldo has been good on tv with this war. He is kind to the troops and giving the guys a chance to be seen on the home television. Geraldo has had his share of screwups, unfortunately, just like the rest of us. Hopefully he's on the right path now.
