I agree...I think that was the Celtic influence....I remember some of the novels I read as a child such as Wuthering Heights....there was alway reference to the dark hair and piercing eyes....

Ah! So it was the Celts who gave Grandma the black hair, and probably raiding Vikings that gave Grandpa the orange hair!

That's interesting though. I wondered what the Celts looked like.
