The US still has blue helmets. US alongwith UK troops serve under UN command in the former Soviet Republic of Georgia. Not a stones throw from Iraq under UNOMIG.

The following is an image of a UN marked USAF U-2. All hell would break loose if they forgot to remove the markings before it returned to US soil! The militia would be out with the AAA!

I don't think that ANY UN troop activity would be tolerated for long, here in our homeland. If I had any say in the matter, the USA would dump that bunch.
