To defend his assumption that border crossing have dropped by 70 percent, Aguilar pointed to a chart that showed drops in the number of apprehensions. Aguilar admitted he does not know what percentage of illegals are apprehended and how many avoid detection.

Don't you just love it, outcome based border control.

I doubt that the number of crossings has decreased in Eastern Arizona. Everything I see indicates a noticable increase in the number of illegals entering in Western Arizona.

Good Job Spiff, I couldn't get away to freep Comrade Grijalva when he was here Friday, one of these days I will have the opportunity.

The number of crossing has definitely increased in Cochise County just south of my house. Read this report about the civilian groups and how many of the wave of invaders they had apprehended last week.

BP agents are being purosely mismanaged so that they will apprehend fewer intruders so that Aguilar can show lower numbers and claim fewer crossing. He should be fired.

Somehow, we managed to get two people into the tour that were not invited who were able to set the story straight. Kolbe had handpicked ranchers from the Nature Conservancy to talk to the group and tried to keep real ranchers away. Here's a little more info about that:

From The Anderson Report:

David Aguilar is not only wrong, he is a willful premeditated liar.

We will know the outcome of the Arizona border situation based on whether or not Aguilar is removed from his position.

The delegation spent some time on the border touring public lands and some private ranches: It was during the briefing session on the Ladd ranch that Mr. Hutchison was told the real facts by Erin Anderson and Richard Humphries. Their combined (and unscheduled briefings) totally destroyed the credibility of Kolbe, Grijalva and Aguilar.

Erin's comments were highlighted by:

1. Her denunciation of the Arizona delegation for their "thundering silence " in response to the murders of a US Border Patrol Agent and US Park Ranger and the loud message such a lack of concern was sending to illegal alien smugglers and drug traffickers. Such a negative message is also a great concern to local ranching families.

2. Her rapid fire and detailed report on the terrorist Al Qaeda associations that have been long standing in Tucson.

Richard's comments were highlighted by:

1. His denunciation of Kolbe's meddling in Border Patrol operations and Kolbe's denial of local checkpoints.

2. His illuminating report on the town of Altar, Sonora as a major smuggling staging point.

The briefings were supposed to be presentations by three area ranchers selected by Kolbe to ask for "guest worker programs" and "no use of the military on the border". As it turns out, the Kolbe-selected ranchers did in NO WAY represent the regional ranching community, but are mere pawns and mouthpieces for the Nature Conservancy.

Kolbe is such an arrogant politico that he thought that nobody would catch on to his scam.

All should be grateful to Sheriff Larry Dever for escorting Erin Anderson into the briefing and for faulty Border Patrol control for allowing Richard Humphries in also.

No local press was allowed into the briefings which is why there is no reporting in the press. Again, the media is clueless and that which they did report was pure pabulum.

We did more than protest this weekend, we infiltrated the controlled briefing and destroyed the false image that Kolbe, Grijalva, and Aguilar wanted to present.

Erin Anderson is on the left. The lady on the right is local rancher B.J. Kuykendall. I'm standing behind her holding my sign up facing towards the Naco BP Station.
