I caught that one, too. Strangely, I don't recall the US ever surrendering to the Germans.They surrendered as fast as they could, and then the non-Jewish French even prospered. American troops were amazed how well the Parisians were doing. The French Jews were tossed to the Germans of course, except in a few brave exceptions.
France is becoming North Algeria, but the only thing that will matter to them is that the Muslims all speak French.
