"Nothing like a couple dead crows hung on the fence to deter others!"That's a fine analogy. In fact, if you kill a crow in the presence of others, generations of crows thereafter will leave you alone.

In India we call it "monkey on a stick". On banana plantations, the monkees can eat up the whole plantation if allowed. They kill the first monkee to trespass, and stick his head on a stick at the perimeter. Vwalla! NO TRESPASSERS!
