POLICE THINK A 14-YEAR-OLD RUNAWAY FROM MICHIGAN. MAY BE IN THE GRASS VALLEY (CA) AREA. THIS NOON.
AN AMBER ALERT WAS ISSUED THIS MORNING FOR LINDSEY DIANE RYAN.
THE TEEN IS BELIEVED TO BE ON THE RUN WITH A CONVICTED MURDERER, NAMED TERRY DRAKE, WHO IS 40 YEARS HER SENIOR.
THE TWO BECAME ACQUAINTED AT A CHURCH IN MICHIGAN, AND BOTH DISAPPEARED LAST SATURDAY.
VERBATIM: "WE HOPE THAT SOMEBODY WILL SPOT HER, AND TELL AUTHORITIES, THAT IS WHAT WE REALLY HOPE WILL HAPPEN."
POLICE BELIEVE THE TWO ARE CARRYING GUNS AND AMMUNITION, THAT LINDSEY STOLE FROM HER PARENTS HOME.
THEY "ALSO" THINK LINDSEY "MAY" HAVE DYED HER HAIR BROWN.
DRAKE MAY BE DRIVING A WHITE 1995 DODGE DAKOTA TRUCK WITH INDIANA LICENSE PLATES.

Lindsey was abducted by Terry Drake. A FBI UFAP warrant was issued for him on 3/12/2003. They may be traveling in a 1995 white Dodge Dakota "topper cap" pickup truck which is pictured above. The truck may have Indiana license plates 406211A or 229929A. The abductor may or may not wear glasses and he has multiple tattoos on his neck and forearms. He may also use the alias name Alfonzo Devette and may use an alias DOB of 2/22/1947. Lindsey's hair may be dyed black. CAUTION ADVISED: He may be armed and dangerous.

I am from Indiana, I am not good with faces.. but the dakota with that weirdo cap should stick out like a sore thumb.

PS: Is this the case where the girl ran off with some schmuck from over the internet? I simply cannot believe that these things continue to happen in this day and age.

Anchorage police are following up on dozens of tips about missing brothers Isaiah and Malcolm Johnson but still don't know how they disappeared or where they might be. As police continue to knock on doors and check out leads, they are holding on to the hope "that these children are alive and we are going to find them alive," Police Chief Walt Monegan said Friday at a daily briefing for reporters. Isaiah, 5, and Malcolm, 8, vanished Monday evening while playing near their home on Doil Drive, off Dowling Road.

Thanks for posting the pictures. I did a search before I posted, and didn't come up with a previous post on this. That picture of the truck is from a Meijer store Terry Drake visited and believed to be the actual truck. The police and media had been using a photo of a Dodge Dakota that was different.

Yes the truck cap is unique. Apparently they went into a Meijer store and bought camping gear. When the check bounced, Meijer looked at the security tapes and believe that is the actual truck they're traveling in.

The girl meet Terry Drake at church, and they corresponded via email amd instant messages over the internet for 3 months. She was 13 at the time, now 14, and he is 56.

Drake is a convicted murderer. He murdered a friends wife apparently. Not much has been reported on those details.
