Someone needs to inform this 45 year old Harlem resident that there is no military draft anymore and that the blacks that are in the service now enlisted. So if lots of blacks enlisted in the military, then lots of blacks enlisted. End of story.
Add to that the fact that the really dangerous missions are fought by special forces, and nobody gets a serious combat infantry position unless they really want it, and the result is that any casualties we have will still be tragic, but they will be inflicted on patriots who where proud to have the chance to serve their country.
And I guess that's why this argument really pisses me off. It is dishonest racebaiting for political gain. And it is an insult to the brave men who will give their lives so that others will be safer from state sponsored terrorism.
