"Rally: "Get Ready for War"" (

A soldier, a movie, and a rally for us at home.

There are things we can do in order to prepare our soul and mindset for this war. On top of the list is a most visible means of support: March 29, in San Francisco at noon across from City Hall. Everyone should attend this large rally in support of our troops.

Another good reason is Bruce Willis's latest film, opening as a box office hit around the nation, entitled ''Tears of the Sun.'' Mr. Willis really is an authentic American hero. A few days ago he called the White House and wanted to enlist to fight for America. He was turned down because of age, but he was joined by actors Rob Lowe and John Travolta in being there for the American people.

I urge you to witness ''Tears of the Sun.'' Support the project and the message it contains because it may well be the only property you see coming out of Hollywood that tells the real story. The phoney, full-of-themselves glitterati don't blink about putting so many people into their graves--as long as they can make their Bush-bashing a sensation. Thank God for the heartland. Thank God for the few and the brave. Please join me in applauding Bruce, while the rest of the movie goers prefer to enjoy the racial jokes in ''Bringing Down the House,'' which is an entertaining attempt at escapism, but dead on delivery as far as message is concerned. Bruce Willis brings the reality that our young service people are confronting today, as we prepare for Iraq.

Those of us who have been to war, and experienced the stench of death, the burning desire to live, and the need to risk it all for freedom, know what it feels like. The effect war has on us is different for each person. Our resolve must not waver because America is under attack. While some choose to run and hide like cowards, our brothers and sisters are already there and ready to give the ultimate sacrifice on the altar of our country.

Some Americans seem not to be aware of the dangers that lurk. As we speak, there are chemicals being prepared to be poured on our citizens. The false security that post 9-11 has given many, doesn't change the plans of our enemies who plan horrible things for our people. There are enemy agents infesting the heartland, laying their webs of deceit, disguised as men of God, as pacifiers, as common folk, covering their true mission. We must expose them.

The enemy within rejoices at each ''useful idiot'' that criticizes our president on this matter. Each demonstration, each anti-war rally, every word of criticism or rebuke is praise to the ears of our enemies.

We are living in a dangerous world which is turning on us. Many of us like the innocent child that is kidnapped, raped, and murdered, prey to the villain, our troops stands valiantly to intercede. Imagine those chemicals poured on our troops. Saddam has done this to his people; imagine what he and our enemies would like to do to our country.

The left wants to destroy America. That is the declared purpose of these organizations that mount these Anti American Rallies, which they try to pass off on an unsuspecting public as mere opposition to war.. These are the very same people who mock our president, insult our flag, desecrate God, and ignore our rights to bear arms and defend ourselves. The regular masses of ignorant evil hordes are accompanied on their political rampage by the poor well-meaning modern day appeasers, the Chamberlains of the 21st Century, and the evil malcontents contents in our media and academia.

Have no qualms about it, these ugly fetid masses that appear on our streets to object the fact that our government must act now to defend us, must in turn be confronted and put in their place. Our troops need us back home to fight off the domestic enemy. Those who reject our right to defend ourselves, pre-emptively or not, have to be dealt with as the enemy within, and dealt with now.

Please attend and bring your families, because our rallies are decent, safe, and family oriented. Our mission is sacred, so we do not have to destroy property or deface it. We do not have rage for our troops, because these are our families. These are our people. We have nothing but consolation for the families of the active members and we need to show our support for them, our president, and our country.

Our good friend Debra England, president of the Republican Jewish Coalition of Northern California, sent me a narrative from the wife of Vietnam Veteran. It told the story of how the veteran during his tour of duty had his picture taken with Actress Ann-Margaret, in Vietnam entertaining our troops with Bob Hope. Many years later Ann Margaret came to the home town of the veteran, for a book signing and the vet resolved to see her and ask for an autograph on the picture. He got to the books store early, second in line, and the manager came out to announce that only books would be signed and no memorabilia. Our veteran decided just to show the picture to her, and when his turn he came, the entourage attempted to stop him. Ann-Margaret stood up, looked at the picture, and tears came to her eyes:

''This is one of my gentlemen from Viet Nam and I most certainly will sign his photo. I know what these men did for their country and I always have time for 'my gentlemen.' '' She pulled the veteran, Richard Browne, across the table and planted a big kiss on him. She commented on his bravery, with admiration and appreciation. Not a dry eye in the room when she was done. She then posed with him for an updated picture. Later at dinner Richard broke down in his wife's arms crying as he mentioned that this was the first time he had ever been thanked for his time in the army.

Richard, like many others, had returned home from war to be spat upon, and have ugly things shouted at him. But that night was a turning point for him. After that, he walked a little straighter, a little taller, and for the first time in many years, he is now proud to be a vet!

I wonder how many of the Hollywood glitterati have spent time thanking our vets? When was the last time Rob Reiner or Martin Sheen donated to a veteran cause? Has Jane Fonda spent any of her millions on the people who fight to defend us. The only vet that Alec Baldwin and Kim Bassinger or Sharon Stone and her hubby know, is the vet that probably services their pets.

I haven't seen the anti-America and anti-Bush crowd anywhere near the veterans memorial day celebration. You know why? Because they are not patriotic Americans, they are anti-Americans, and not interested in the things we as Americans are. Maybe it ought to be a rule, that if you don't fight for it or support it, you shouldn't have it. IT being freedom.
