ISLAMABAD, March 14 (KUNA) -- The law enforcement agencies assisted by Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) agents during a midnight raid arrested four foreigners and two Pakistanis from Tajabad near Peshawar, an official said here.

The security official requesting anonymity told KUNA on Friday that law enforcement agencies personnel and FBI agents raided the house of Taj Gul and Umar in Tajabad and arrested them along with their four Arab guests. He said that the agencies on a tip off that some "Al-Qaida" suspects were being sheltered by their local sympathisers, stormed the house and arrested the suspects.

"The recovered equipment from their possession may further reinforce the suspicion of the agencies that a network of terrorists existed in the City," he added.

The equipment seized from the house included CDs, travel documents and fake passports of Sudan, Egypt and Afghanistan.

The official further said that after initial interrogation the locals were released while the four Arabs were taken to Islamabad for further investigation by a joint interrogation team of local agencies and FBI.

Good news. Perhaps it was lost in translation but what they listed was not equipment. Wonder what else they had?

The jihadists aren't going to like this. I wonder for how long Musharaf will be able to keep a lid on them.

Good question, I'm sure we'll be hearing some details soon.

We shouldn't stop until every single Al Qaida is either dead or under arrest, even if it takes us 10 more years. Imagine the absolute and total destruction of this terrorist group. It will be a long time before a terrorist groups dares attack the U.S. again. I hope the news of the suicide attempts on Guantanamo Bay are getting a lot of press overseas.

Nothing like having 250,000 troops and eight carriers sitting around begging for some ass to kick to motivate our allies in the WOT.

Coincidence? I think not.

One hopes.

Another disquieting possibility is the formation of smaller groups using lessons learned this time around.

Let us always keep in mind the words of our (Thank God) President Bush: ". . .We will starve terrorists of funding, turn them one against another, drive them from place to place until there is no refuge or no rest."

Don't you just love the sound of "midnight raids"????

Possibly the result of intel from the last arrest?

More on the way I'm sure.

They shouldn't have released the locals yet. They were harboring suspected terrorists.
