I don't think he can be sentenced to death for kidnapping and rape, I am not certain, but I thought that the death penalty can only be used for murder.

If that's true,I hope the law is soon changed. Kidnappers are the scum of the Earth,and put the parents of the children they steal through a living hell. It is a ultimate crime.
