I've been checking in here for my daily news for years. I basically would print every thread that looked interesting in the morning and that would be my "news" for the day. I've got to say, the unbelievable efforts of those here to scour the worlds press agencies for news got me hooked, but the thoughtfull posts and insights got me addicted.

From time to time I've followed things more closely. I couldn't get off FR during the impeachment, the election, etc. And with the recent developments I'm on here all the time.

Months later, he was implicated in the August '44 plot to kill Hitler, and was offered the option of shooting himself to spare having his family punished with him.

Rommel did not shoot himself, he took cyanide.
