[history]
Ron Frey came to Modesto this week to visit one daughter and to see for himself the place where a missing person case swept up another. Amber Frey was caught in a media maelstrom when she divulged that she had a romantic relationship with Scott Peterson, husband of Laci Peterson, who has been missing since Christmas Eve.

Just about every day, I go to the newspapers to see if they have found Laci Petersen, and each day, I am saddened to see Scott Petersen running about the country, as if nothing had happened. The above story proves that Scott Peterson had no natural feelings for anyone, for he was lying to Amber (his mistress) as well. Scott had set her up, and he was playing a game with her. What would happen to her was not his concern. I could not serve on a jury that was serving in a Scott Peterson trial, because I would have to admit that I believe that he is as guilty as can be. He knows where Laci was put, is my firm belief.

The portrayal of Amber as an innocent victim here is wearing thin..my husband went to high school with her, she was at family events, and picking the wrong guy is not new to her..she has a long history of sleeping around with the worst sort.. not sure if she even knows who the father of her little girl is.

The picture shows 30-year-old Peterson in a black tuxedo and Amber Frey, then 27, in a red, strapless dress. They are holding each other and smiling in front of a Christmas tree. And they'd only known each other less than a month? (As I remember they met in November, 2002.)
I find something wrong with this scenario. In the first place, 20 somethings in the Central Valley usually do not get invited to black tie occasions that much. After all, these folks are not in Hollywood.
A work party for Scott? Not black tie at his place of business -- and would he take his mistress to his place of business Christmas party anyway? Amber was a massage therapist -- unlikely business to be throwing a black tie party for their employees. A family wedding? A posh party at Scott's country club that he had just joined to the tune of $25,000?
High school kids wear tuxedos to proms. College kids wear tuxedos occasionally for weddings. Young adults seldom don tuxedos unless they are standing up in a wedding or work in the NY fashion business or the movie business.
And if Scott were wearing his own tuxedo, he'd have to send the shirt out for cleaning afterward. Wouldn't Laci question that?

I hope that today's discovery of Elizabeth Smart causes you and yours to pause for a moment.
Their is a sound logical reason to wait until the body of the crime is established before subscribing blame.

Elizabeth Smart being found alive after 8 months is the exception, not the norm.
Lacy's disappearance was not witnessed by a little sister that could provide info that would clear all household members.
