Actually, I thought the town council meeting was the best part of that movie.

Unfortunately, I can't exactly remember the quote they rattled off each and every time regarding the case before them. I thinks it went something like this:

Bad attitude, lack of respect, failure to comply with authority. The FARM, immediately.

More importantly, however, it appears that Cancer Man is back!

The identity of the third man is not clear.

A British billion is actually a million.

So something got messed up in the translation, DJ was probably handling 8 million bucks..

He is 53. (Although he was always rumored to be "gifted" ala Milton Berle.)

I meant at the time of the Nash Bridges Show (1996-2000) she was born in 1978 which would have made her 18, or just turning so that summer, when they met.

Thank you for the clarification. I am unaware of any trunk that could hold 8,000,000,000 Dollars or Euros. Even in 1,000 unit bills, I believe that would be at least twenty cubic yards of paper.

Let this be a warning to us all, don't bring our billions into Germany in a suitcase. I usually carry my billions of dollars in a shopping bag.

...and stuck laudering paper for God-knows who.

His spokesman, Elliot Mintz, is also very good friends with and spokesman for Yoko Ono. Perhaps some of that money was John's. Or perhaps included some of the millions Yoko has made from the sale of her own records (chuckle).

All the inane comments on this thread you started have me wondering if FReepers believe carrying large sums of cash or negotiable securities is or should be a crime everywere in the civilized world.

Strange comment for someone with your screen handle.

No, carrying large sums of cash or securities is not a crime in itself. However, it generally points to the prior committal of some nefarious act, which was criminal.

A bit like having crumbs and chocolate stains around your mouth as a kid. Not a reason for parental scolding in itself. However, it generally meant that you had just raided the cookie jar, which most certainly was on the "no-no" list.
