actually, no one knows where Tubbs is,

He's not doing too bad for himself; he hit on a decent run of late - he's the voice of Lance in "Grand Theft Auto: Vice City" alongside Ray Liotta as Tommy.

I love his response....."It's not my fault, it is someone else's fault, I'm gonna sue."

Is it technically correct to call Don Johnson an actor? That implies that he still acts, which I doubt. (Actually, I doubt he ever did. Miami Vice was stoopid.)

There is no story here. He was shopping for my birthday present and I wanted a really really good one. Dang, I suppose now I'll have to settle for a card. (if he can afford the postage from Germany)

Fox has tried to recreate this in a pretty lame attempt at a copycat show with Fastlane. They should have have just bought the rights to use the name Miami Vice and did a remake of the original...would have sold better.

Ever see the cult SciFi classic "A Boy and His Dog"? Based on the Harlan Ellison story. It features a young Don Johnson with a talking dog mentor. Interesting.

Never seen it - does it detract from my thesis that Johnson can't act? :)

A good show, Miami Vice; revitalized Friday evening TV.

Made graduate school survivable.
I told friends that I could hardly wait for each episode because I wanted to
see what "the weapon of the week" would be for that episode.
It's been a long time, but I think the M-60 machine gun just about topped the list.

No, his current status is "Don Johnson, husband of San Francisco socialite..." I don't remember her name. He got real chummy with Denise Hale and all those Rich Liberal Socialites, and maybe there is a connection here somewhere. What does Denise Hale (or family) do for a living? Any arms dealers around? Denise Rich around?

Hey! Can we get Don to pay for the war? I mean, he now has more money than Bill Gates!

Never seen it - does it detract from my thesis that Johnson can't act? :) LOL. No, he plays himself. A guy who's dog is much smarter than himself. But it's a really cool movie, if you like kinky science fiction.

A star? Where? Is it a meteor or a chunk of space garbage?

It's been a long time, but I think the M-60 machine gun just about topped the list.

I remember when they first started with the big machine guns on there..."Who's selling you punks machine guns?! I don't like machine guns! They effect my ability to do my job!"

Really the M-60 wasn't the biggest "gun" on the show. I think that the Stinger they used to blow up the Crocket's car gets that honor...but it wasn't technically a gun, though. :)

Don Johnson got kicked out of school in the Midwest for doing lots of coke, (and then started his acting career..) this should provide some clues to what is going on here..

Most border guards looking at 'Nash Bridges' would not think to make a complete search when a celebrity was visiting their country

I love the ending to that movie. You also walk away with some great life lessons. As to Johnon's acting skills, they were terrible, but the plot is so bizzar you won't notice it.
