Thousands of Russians volunteer to defend Iraq

Around ten thousand Russian citizens have applied for entry visas into Iraq to defend this country against the planned aggression by the warmongering USA and UK, according to the Iraqi Embassy in Moscow.

Iraqi Ambassador to Moscow, Abbas Khalaf, declared last week that the Embassy had received around 3,500 requests, a number which has multiplied in the last few days, according to sources in the same Embassy.

The requests come from young males, some with combat experience, who describe themselves as “volunteers” who are willing to defend Iraq against the illegal armed aggression of the USA and the United Kingdom, two countries which continue to follow a belligerent stance on crisis management, wholly outside the generally accepted concepts of a New World Order based upon multilateralist approaches to problem solving, based upon the United Nations Organisation, a position championed by president Putin’s Russian Federation.

For those who present an adequate reason for travelling to Iraq, the Embassy provides a visa and transportation, free of charge.

The dispute is not between the US and the people of Iraq. It is between the regime of Saddam Hussein, and the people of Iraq that are allied with the US. The people of Iraq are hostages taken in the war for control of access to oil.

If it were "only about oil", the US would have moved in and occupied Canada, Mexico and Venezuela. Shorter supply lines and easier logistics.

All the more reason for President Bush to pull the trigger on Iraq. No more last, last, last chances for Saddam ... the U.S. is wasting valuable time awaiting approval from the United Nations ... it won't happen ... and those who support Saddam have been given to much time to organize opposition.

...according to the Iraqi Embassy in Moscow.

Now there's a source we can trust!

the (Iraqi) Embassy provides a visa and transportation, free of charge

Such a bargain!

This is just an Iraqi sales brochure, distributed by a wishful media.

Maybe the Russian volunteers would be wiser to use their talents in defending Siberia from China, now that they have alienated their most valuable ally, the U.S.A.

The Russians just may find that when the war starts the Iraqis just may start firing at them instead of us.

More news: The volunteers are specifically volunteering for the ancient Iraqi fortress known in the middle ages as: "The Castle Anthrax"!!! One volunteer was quoted as saying: "Yes. Yes, you must give us all a good spanking!"
