Ah. So a police officer who shoots a bank robber during the commission of his crime has committed murder -- has killed an innocent person, since the robber "hadn't been convicted of anything in a court of law." Interesting. This article has TOO much common sense in it Madfly..will this man run for office?

This is the first article I've read of his, thanks to Black Agnes. I just think he's a kick. I posted the other one she sent, THE ATTACK OF THE KILLER EUPHAMISMS, lol, but I spelled it EUPHASIMS and boy is it getting the hits!

But following that same logic, the officer had clearly not at that point committed murder, since he had not been convicted in a court of law of shooting anybody. So what we have is a system in which nobody can ever be called guilty of anything - in which nothing ever happens. That is, unless they say something impolite.
