I've read A Republic Not an Empire, and I remember he wrote that WWII was avoidable, but that once we were attacked, we had no choice but to enter the war. I don't remember his saying we should have minded our own business. Could you tell me where he said this?

I know he talked about the foolishness of the war guarantees Britain made to Poland, which had the effect (his theory) of turning German attention to the Brits instead of the Soviet Union. He opined that it would have been better to let the Communists and Nazis beat each other up, and let GB better prepare itself to clean up the remnants of whichever dictator was left. It may also have had the effect of avoiding the pounding London and the rest of England took.

I don't necessarily agree with that view, but I don't think that it implies any sort of support for Germany or Hitler, as many on here claim (hopefully you are above that).
