We are right now terminal, only revolution has been successful in regaining so much lost ground.

Sorry but the Republic has been gone these 140+ years. I will agree with you however that to begin a return to the Republic these laws need to go

The government has a pretty good track record of restoring rights that it get hazy with during times of war. No need for the hysteria. Its war time, we have to make sacrifices. And if things do get out of control (unlikely), thats why we have the 2nd amendment.
