Tam Dayell, a veteran of Britian's Labour Party and the oldest member of the House of Commons, called on Monday for the resignation of United Kingdom Prime Minister Tony Blair over his policy on Iraq.

'The United States and Britian are very wrong. I think it is too late for Tony Blair. Personally, I want a new Prime Minister. We are looking for someone other than Tony Blair, Dalyell said in French on the France 'Inter Radio' broadcast.

Asked if he was saying that UK Prime Minister Tony Blair should resign, he said: 'Yes, straight away.'

We are extremely angry at the positions taken by Britain and the United States..Germany and France are right. I hope another Prime Minister would speak seriously with Germany and France.'

Also rumours of a plan to bring a vote of no-confidence in Blair, although it is doubtful that they have the votes.

Dear MP Dalyell:

If Winston Churchill had followed the French in WWII, your wife would today be giving sexual favors to Nazi SS officers in exchange for extra ration cards.

That's all I have to say.

God save the Queen!

Dalyell, like his erstwhile colleague on the looney left Anthony Wedgewood Benn, never had anything bad to say about the Stalinist regimes in eastern Europe. He obviously finds that Sadaam's Baath Party ("Arab socialist")brings back memories of the good old days.

Doesn't Blair need 160 in opposition for a vote on no confidence (which probably wouldnt even occur unitl October at the earliest, and by that time he and Dubya will be recieving medals for bravery)
