ISLAMABAD, Pakistan -- Pakistani intelligence officials confirmed Monday that a top al-Qaida suspect captured earlier this month met Osama bin Laden in December and has produced information that has helped authorities close in on the terrorist mastermind.
The March 1 arrest of Khalid Shaikh Mohammed, thought to be the No. 3 figure in the terror network, as well as information from other suspected terrorists has brought authorities "significantly closer to Osama," an intelligence official said at a rare briefing.

Where there's smoke.......there are HUD-mandated smoke-detectors, EPA regulations dictating the maximum dioxin PPM count, BATF agents checking the smoke for traces of explosives, and firemen standing around looking uncomfortable.

who thinks we already have him / or killed him and since he was already presumed dead, we just let everyone continue presuming? did he die when/if his sons were with him protecting him?

Are we gonna spend yet another week playing "where's Waldo?" Since I don't subscribe to the chicago post, I can't read the whole article.
Does it sound credible?

A little antibiotics ought to take care of that.

You mean this?Yes. As a joke, I would love to attach one of these 'clappers' to a friends pacemaker, and clap him on and off for a while.
Just for giggles, you understand.

I'm starting to think that OBL has fled Pakistan, that the Pakis know it, and that all this Paki intelligence about he's here, he's close, the net's closing in, is just meant to distract us. I don't trust the Pakistanis.

If we get him, it would not be announced until he has been evacuated to a secure and undisclosed location. As much as I want him dead, I hope we get him alive for some torture and humiliation.....then we kill him!
To: CurlyBill
No, my bet is he is long dead. We are squeezing the juice out of his name to keep the Pakis focused. We are rounding up his crew.
It is the BEST outcome that he remain officially "alive" until all of his followers become disappointed he won't show his face. Not a martyr. Just a no-show.

of these 'clappers'
I have one in the bedroom, but middle-of-night acts of "vaporage" tend to turn the lights on...
