One of the world's richest men wants some of his money to go to the dogs.
A nonprofit group headed by retired billionaire industrialist Stephen D. Bechtel Jr. plans to help establish 330 acres outside Lincoln as wetlands for wildlife habitat -- and a site to train hunting dogs.

I have no problem with them using private property or private funds to do this stuff. I have a problem when they use tax dollars to steal property and bowl over peoples rights.

I will bet you a lunch that the property will end up being titled California Conservation Fund property. Bechtel wouldn't want to pay the taxes out of his own pocket.
