I stopped in this hallowed ground on a bicycle trip in 1987. I was riding from Munich to Le Havre by myself, camping on the way, via Verdun. I never saw so many cemetaries (American, German, French), monuments, etc. I stopped into the American cemetary pictured and was blown away. It was such a beautiful place, very solemn, and my pride as an American overflowed. Maybe it would be better to take these brave Americans and take them back to the country they gave their lives for.
Its a cinch the French don't care about them any more.
Its a cinch that the Muslims who will take over France in a couple of generations will desecrate the cemetaries just like they desecrate the Jewish cemetaries and holy places. I couldn't stand to see that happen.

You make a good point. It will certainly be easier to exhume our fallen and give them a proper burial here in the U.S.now, than to leave them in the rotting netherworld that Europe is rapidly devolving into and try it at sometime in the future.
Heaven forbid their graves fall into the hands to the islamofascists that are rapidly overwhelming the naive eurotrash.
