seven year old son......looks like he's got some life in him yet. Hehe. Although Jesse does have much life in him, his son is adopted. He adopted a 7 year old disabled boy when he was 60.
As I said, he's a golden guy.

I live in rural West Georgia, 30 minutes from Atlanta to the east and 30 minutes to the Alabama line the other way.
The average price for undeveloped land here is $12,000 to $15,000 per acre. Undeveloped waterfront property probably goes for $25,000 to $30,000 an acre. To me, the $10,000 an acre was a lowball figure.

Sounds to me like a compromise should be reached. He should sell the land to the state for fair market value, with a stipulation that he can continue to live on it and have it undisturbed for the remainder of his life. The project can wait a decade or two, and the disabled son will need the trust fund after his father's gone.
