Despite talk of offers of up to $5 million, Hardy says he has no plans to sell his property for any price.

After meeting with Mr. Hardy the 5 Million dollar offer is not a real offer. What Jesse showed me is an offer on paper of 1.7 million. That is roughly $10,625.00 an acre. Now if you check real estate values in the Naples area you will find that is well below average market value.

Not that the money should be an issue. If someone does not want to sell there property after living on it for 27 years they should not have to.

Nonetheless, it's hard to get worked up about it when granny down the road is getting booted because she can't pay her $500 tax bill and this guy is sitting on $1.7M offers.
