Well, those leaders seem to have chosen methods that are virtually guaranteed to galvanize us against them. I wonder if they realize that.

You have to admit, it's a workable scheme. There is no one to stop them since guns aren't allowed near schools.

"Well, those leaders seem to have chosen methods that are virtually guaranteed to galvanize us against them. I wonder if they realize that."
Two points:
1. Such leaders are so adrift in their internal fantasies, now promoted to their reality, that they neither really know nor care.
2. Tragically, not even such methods will 'galvanize' all of us against them. J. Carter and R. Clark come to mind...they will go to their grave making excuses for such lunacy.
Only some years after the utter annihilation of these demoniacs (I can wish, can't I?) will some historians recognize the necessity of the eradication. The parallels with the Japanese military culture, the Nazis, the Cheka, etc., all beggar the imagination. The tragedy of the youth and unwitting populations caught up in this madness makes the gods weep.
Even so. Herr, es ist Zeit. Der Sommer war sehr gross...
Mr. Bush, unleash the dogs.
