From What ever happened to Amy Carter?
Carter went on to pursue a master's degree in art history at Tulane University in New Orleans. There she met James Wentzel, a computer consultant, whom she married in 1996.Today, Amy Carter (she kept her name) lives a quiet life in Atlanta with her husband and seven-month-old son, Hugo James Wentzel. She declines to be interviewed. She is a board member at the Carter Center, the human rights and diplomacy center established by her father.
Carter also illustrated a children's book, "The Little Baby Snoogle-Fleejer," (Times Books, 1995), written by her famous father.
