He's had a busy and productive life, unlike most of his critics. Hehehe...very well put... ;-)

There used to be a saying in the engineering business that B&R stood for Bungle and Run.
To: Fulbright
Explain exactly why this fine American firm should not have this contract; other than personal vitriol against Dick Cheney?

I have no clue, but I'm sure you're going to tell me. Nope. That was just a simple, straightforward question because I honestly don't know and am curious.

So, did you or someone you are associated with lose this contract?
Just curious about what the chip on your shoulder is made of...

Good for KBR....but let's hope there are no well fires before we can secure those targets.
In the meantime, I can hear the Left screaming now. Because they will have conveniently forgotten that Cheney is divested, they'll kick up the stupid rhetoric about how this is 'all about oil' with the 'oil men in the Whitehouse' blah, blah, blah.....
And sadly, the media will report stupid commentary from Leftists and conveniently never bother to correct the record.
To: Fulbright
So, is there someone better in this particular business that should have had the contract? Did they bid?

I live north of the 45th parallel. Nobody north of the 40th gets defense contracts, as you well know.

"Red Adair."
"He's retired."Paul N. "Red" Adair was born June 18, 1915...
Red sold Red Adair Company, Inc. in 1993 and then formed Adair Enterprises, Inc. for consulting, product endorsements and investing.
His bio says he worked in Gulf War I, but (if he's still alive) the guy would be almost 88 years old.
I guess that explains why he's not getting the contract this time around.

...but let's hope there are no well fires before we can secure those targets. A hearty amen!
And you are right about the hypocrites in the media and on the left...but I repeat myself... ;-)

Sorry, this isn't something I feel competent to comment on.

Ooooops! I meant to include you on that last one also.
To: Fulbright
So why jump on the Left's hate-Cheney-and-everyone-he-ever-associated-with bandwagon?
I don't get it.
