I don't think the Robinsons' can develop a search engine that takes into consideration misspelled words.

Why the snide remark? Even AOL's pathetic search feature will pick up sandstorms when asked to find sandstorm. It's a waste of everyone's time to post duplicates, FR should get better at these things.

I searched FR for "sandstorm" prior to posting this article, fairly sure that someone had caught it last night. But nothing came up but weeks' old articles. I do hope FR somehow develops better SEARCH FEATURES.

Why search for a word that isn't in the title of the article you posted? Doesn't sound very bright. Free Republic's search engine works fine provided you have the ability to use it correctly. The Robinson's have even generated a tutorial for those of you who are search engine challenged. How to Search. Compare sandstorm with sandstorms. It's not difficult at all.

Why the snide remark?

If you think that was a snide remark then you have more problems than not being able to use a search engine.
