There is a federal law (18 USC 1001), titled "Fraud and False Statements," that is sometimes used against citizens lying to those in government. But those in government seem immune.
For the Washington crowd, any lie, no matter how outrageous, is justified by calling it "spin." It is their "opinion," they say, no matter how intentionally fraudulent it may be.
It doesn't matter that when the establishment press reports these intentional fabrications as news, as they usually do, the lies are often believed to be honest facts by many in the public sector.
Unfortunately, the False Statements law is not used against federal law enforcement agents.

Well, you can use that and twist it to mean that there has never been a single person on the face of this earth that has ever dreamt of using planes to ram into buildings.

lots of things that have never been done before now can and are being done everyday with the law. Whom among us would ever have believed the lawsuit against tobacco would succeed? or that Bill Clinton could successfully warp the laws while he was President?
Try, try, try again is the motto.
"Never give up, never give up, never give up, never ever give up."
paraphrase of Winston Churchhill
You have a good idea.

Uh, I'm not sure what you are saying.
Condi said more than once, that "she never dreamed that any one would use planes to ram into buildings".
Both public and private documentation that the terrorists were planning on doing that was available to Condi pre 9/11.
She either was too lazy or to stupid,or to corrupt to tell Bush about these plans.

CNN: Clinton & Reno's FBI warned 6 Years Ago of Plans To HIT Pentagon With Airplane! Clymer News Network ^ Posted on 09/18/2001 6:19 PM EDT by Recovering_Democrat
MANILA, Philippines (CNN) -- The FBI was warned six years ago of a terrorist plot to hijack commercial planes and slam them into the Pentagon, the CIA headquarters and other buildings, Philippine investigators told CNN.
Philippine authorities learned of the plot after a small fire in a Manila apartment, which turned out to be the hideout of Ramzi Yousef, who was later convicted for his role in the 1993 bombing of the World Trade Center. Yousef escaped at the time, but agents caught his right-hand man, Abdul Hakim Murad, who told them a chilling tale. RESOURCES At a glance:
Provided by: CountryWatch.com
"Murad narrated to us about a plan by the Ramzi cell in the continental U.S. to hijack a commercial plane and ram it into the CIA headquarters in Langley, Virginia, and also the Pentagon," said Rodolfo Mendoza, a Philippine intelligence investigator.
Philippine investigators also found evidence targeting commercial towers in San Francisco, Chicago and New York City.
They said they passed that information on to the FBI in 1995, but it's not clear what was done with it.

She either X42 and HIS administration was too lazy or to(o) mired in scandal, stupid(ity),or and to(o) much corruption to tell Bush about these plans. to do anything to protect our Country from this murderous attack against our country, our government, our military and innocent Americans.

From time to time Betty Jo appears and goes on this same rant. She has had this explained to her numerous times, but of course as National Security Adviser Betty Jo would have immediately asked for FBI reports that were 6 years old and which she somehow, like Miss Cleo, would have known existed.
To: Neets
You're on quite a roll ! Go get 'em . :-)
To: nopardons; Miss Marple
Well BettyJo can rant on and dump her piles of doo doo as long as she wants, but as long as the sun rises every morning I'll be right behind her with my friendly reminders for her and anyone else who choses to place the blame of 9/11 on the shoulders of the most HONEST, GOD FEARING, RESPECTABLE and POLITICALLY ASTUTE administration this country has ever known.
It's all in the strategery yanow!!!!

Yes, I do say so....I am not anti-gooberment.
It is my experience that the Anti-Gooberment group can and never will find an administration they admire or are happy with...
