Rediculous...why can't they just tell them they aren't interested. The recruiter won't bother with those who aren't prospects.

Recruiters are uber-pressured for results.

However, I strongly disagree with this.

Two sessions with recruiters, once as a junior in high school, and again as a senior are all that should be allowed. If a student WANTS to talk to a recruiter the student will get in touch.

BTW, I'm former USA, vet. I personally hate telemarketers, and recruiters seem to be taking over thier pattern.

I had to slam dunk the NG recruiter coupla years ago by calling my congressman. Calls and letters stopped.

One keeps calling my daughter despite the fact that she's told him a number of times she's is not interested. She's a college student and never ever gave out her cell phone number. He got it from college records. I told her the next time he calls, to put me on the phone.

Want to get crossed off their lists? Tell them you have asthma and are on Ritalyn, and ask if your Lasik surgery disqualifies you.

In one school district, you don't get into the yearbook unless you agree to have recruiters call you.

Why the ACLU isn't all over this is a surprise to me.

I believe 23 states have a "Do Not Call List" law, with more to come.
