Japan is getting ready for North Korea.
As long as Kim jong Il is lobbing things into the sea of Japan, they will be kissing our butts. If things get hairy, it will be nice to have their production lines on our side. These guys could crank out about a billion F-2 attackers in a heartbeat.

OH I use it for THAT but not for THIS! ;-) I don't trust anything at work! I work for an internet company so everything is monitored. If you have something wrong with your machine when you call IT (which is located in another state) they can control your mouse and anything that is on your machine from their side. I call kiddingly call them RUDE everytime they do that!

Does anyone have a list of emails to the different governments of countries that are supporting us in this upcoming war? I think it'd be great if I can email each country's leader and offices and let them know how much that we, american Citizens, thank them for their support! I think it'd be cool. Anyone have a compiled list???!?!?!?! :)

Japan - an example of what happens when we conquer a country we are at war with. Iraq - an example of what happens when we don't.
Wonderful way of summing it up, Toskrin! That said, I'm really glad we conquered them (well, for more reasons than this) and that they're on our side.

An ally who acts and sounds like an ally--imagine that!!
Good thing....I'd hate to give up my Sony TV.
To: TD911
You may be correct TD911, but I think History has shown that the Japanese, for the most part anyway, are basically an honorable people who conform to a certain code of conduct even when that adherence might prove extremely costly to them. We shall see.

Latest Dynamic Quote I got from Tokyo (7 March 2003):
"We have to weigh heavily on the Japan-U.S. security treaty concerning the security of Japan as the United Nations will not protect us." --
Taro Aso, policy chief of the ruling Liberal Democratic Party
Goodbye United Nations. Goodbye tin horn dictators around the globe.

My father (Korean War Vet) probably rolled over in his grave when I bought my first non American brand car (Toyota Camry). But I can honestly say I will drive it with pride today.

Good for you M17. The J. Embassy in D.C., if they get enough calls and e-mails today and tomorrow, will tell the Japanese press. Then, tomorrow or over the weekend, it will appear in the Japanese press, then it will inspire the Japanese people and make them feel appreciated, and then reverberate in good will back to the USA. A whole positive chain of PRO-AMERICANISM can be developed just through a few Freeper calls, I assure you. The J. government, like British, etc., went against the mainstream sentiment on this one, but knows that you have to step up and lead sometimes, even if it is not popular.
You did good.
