This guy is one, of a handful, of hundreds of thousands. We've always had guys like this, in every war.

You have it exactly right. We ALWAYS have guys like this, both in active and reserve duty, both during wartime and peacetime. There are well established methods of dealing with this, and only one of them is jail and bad-conduct discharge. I hope he is heavily handled, and his horrid fate is well broadcast by the press. That will deter some of the paycheck seekers.

To me (ex-squadron exec officer, among other things), this is a non-event.

Things like this are good real life scenarios that completely debunk any moral equivalency argument between liberals and conservatives..........I mean, if it wasn't for honor duty , and country, would anyone in the military have endured Bill Clinton?

If conservatives acted like liberals, we would have had a walk out, cry -fest, or maybe just a Presidential blanket party....
