Amen. By the way - I don't know if anybody else reads David Wilkerson's sermons - but they are powerful. Not everybody agrees with David Wilkerson of course. But his Times Square Church and his Teen Challenge speak for themselves in testimony to David's walk with His Lord Jesus and the effective fervent prayers of a righteous man availing much for the Kingdom of God and in the work of healing hurting hearts, transforming drugg / alcohol addicted people into God's strong servants, and helping the homeless - the widows - and orphans in NYCity and beyond.

Anyway, I am enjoying reading his sermons.

Here is one from just after 9-11. The bad news is he sees very difficult days ahead for America and for the world. (Yes, he has been seeing this for 30 plus years - and, in fact, his vision has come to pass in terms of him forseeing the flood of pornography that has come directly into American homes and the huge increase in crimes against the innocent).

Remember that David's church members, staff were on the scene immediately after 9-11 ministering aid and help to all who needed it and continue to do so.

Our trust MUST be in our Lord God at this time - for ourselves, for our beloveds in the military, for our nation, for our President.

Fearsome rumors and news may be coming forward in the days ahead. Every believer has the opportunity to display the love of Jesus Christ, and the certainty that God is our strong deliverer, our very present help in time of trouble. And, even as in the days of old when Christians ministered to those with the plague, because they were unafraid of dying - Christians who are truly leaning on Jesus will be able to display that faith and trust in God through whatever is coming.

Be strong in the Lord. HE is our strength. HE is our strong tower. HE is our shield and our redeemer.

We can and should stay on our knees in prayer and give glory to God for any and all victories and deliverances!!!
