Drudge Report updated in the past few minutes...
"**Exclusive**
President Bush on Wednesday night was to make the ultimate call whether to strike and invade Iraq with military force, the DRUDGE REPORT has learned.
A top White House source offered few details, but did reveal the president would make a "defining decision" by morning.
The news comes just hours after Bush discussed top secret battle plans at the White House with his national security team and Army Gen. Tommy Franks, the man who would lead American forces in Iraq.
Military officials said the president had been told that an attack against Iraq could be carried out within the next several days, the NEW YORK TIMES is reporting on Thursday.

CBS, ABC and NBC will probably say he can't have the time. They don't want their affiliates to have their FCC licenses renewed?
To: blam
Yeah, I know what you mean - it's very confusing - and maybe that's what it's supposed to be.

Military officials said the president had been told that an attack against Iraq could be carried out within the next several daysI thought they said they could do it weeks ago?

I take it this means a 'yes' on Dubya's Iraq decision tonight per Drudge?

Maybe it'll be over by next week. Victory speech?
Why would GWB telegraph his punch so far in advance? If THE speech comes, the networks will clear the schedule for it at the last minute.

I find this thread amusing. We have an unconfirmed report that President Bush has requested air time next week...then later in the thread we have yet another uncomfirmed report that several networks (including - OH NO! - CNN) have denied his request. (chuckling over here)
Surely there is not really anyone on here that truly believes time will be scheduled this far in advance for any announcement such as what O'Riley's scoop seems to have suggested to many.

I'm still wondering if the request for air time has even been made.

We have an unconfirmed report I have learned that most of these reporters and "journalists" don't know what they are talking about.
I can't get over people believing, much less, quoting a word they say on this stuff. Even the ones we "like."

Fine. Let CNN not show whatever speech he is going to make.
Who cares what their spin might be anyway. Plus they might run those ridiculous comments at the bottom of the screen like they did last time.
Something like "Is he kidding???"

"the Liberation of Iraq has begun...
...last Thursday, the 6th."
I am thinking along those precise lines.

In light of the U.N.'s refusal to enforce its resolutions, and consequent irrelevancy, the President will announce our withdrawal from the U.N, and the ejection of the U.N. from this country.
(Well, I can always dream, can't I?) :)
