I thought some of his early stuff was pretty good and I admire the way he went from a carpenter to an actor (although carpentry takes a lot more talent, its more difficult to get decent stage and screen roles). He is getting old, however (60) and apparently doesn't know it.

Harrison Ford gets a lot of mileage out of the fact that he's affable and has screen presence. He has not done a challenging movie role in many years. Harrison Ford doesn't know how to disappear into a role, he has them all re-written to fit his persona. He's really quite wooden and I would be surprised if he ever acted again.
