Faced with the alternative of a Democrat, most of you will get right back up and vote for those who smack you around and kick dirt in your face.

Actually this is strong enough to make me go hit the lever for Hillary and Co. JUST TO PRECIPITATE the crisis and get it over with.

I understand your frustration, but I think voting for a Rat may be the worst thing we could do. They'll take it as an endorsement of their socialism, and a mandate to commit evil.

Better to fight in the primary (for what that's worth) and withhold campaign work/money donations. Maybe fund the Republican Liberty Caucus (RLC) instead and try to reform the GOP from the inside.

I'll come right out and admit I'm a Libertarian, and if you'd rather vote for us, that's fine with me. But I don't really care if you do, please just don't vote for anyone who renews the ban. Voting Constitution Party or Natural Law Party, or not voting at all are all viable ways to make your objections not just known but felt.

The worst thing you could do is give your support to Bush if he renews the ban. Basically, he will learn the lesson that he can sell you out and still get what he needs from you. At that point your influence over him will be non-existant.
