Mack, that is so true. DiFi has always been an elitist. She truly believes deep in her heart that she and her ilk are superior to us, who are just mere mortals. DiFi cares not a whit about the safety or security of the people, but she cares very deeply about her own skin and her own power, which she honestly feels is threatened by the "common folk". She is deluded there, though, since the "common folk" want only to be left alone to live their lives and raise their families without interference from nanny-statists such as her. But the "common folk" have only so much patience. To paraphrase Admiral Yamamoto when he remarked on the attack on Pearl Harbor: "I fear all we have done is awaken a sleeping giant and fill him with a terrible resolve." An angered American people, feeling their lives have become intolerable because of the heavy-handed tyranny of social and cultural elitists, will be a fearful thing to behold.
