DOHA, Qatar (AP) -- Iraq's vice president shouted, "Shut up, you monkey!" at a Kuwaiti diplomat Wednesday during an emergency summit of Islamic nations that sought but failed to develop a new position on preventing a possible U.S.-led war against Iraq.

Calls for Saddam to quit power and go into exile have grown stronger among fellow Arabs. You will notice that the French and germans have not proefferd this OBVIOUS way to prevent war. It shows that their main priority is to keep their ally in power.

The Iraqis are a little on edge. They know they have about two weeks before their death, exile, or incarceration.

In the Chicago Tribune, the comment by the Saudis to Ghaddafi was viewed as a reference to an apparently widespread belief in the Arab world that Ghaddafi was brought to power in Libyia (sp?) with the backing of the U.S.; and thus, him criticizing other Arab nations for cooperating with the U.S. is hypocritical.
