LULAC is a political organization, so it's not surprising that they're waffling. But the Estrada affair is definitely damaging the Democrats and giving Hispanics an opportunity to see them at their very worst. If LULACS continues to support Estrada, fine. If they knuckle under to pressure from the Democrats, that will split the opposition too. It's a win-win situation, and the Dems were extremely foolish to pick this fight thinking that their media whores could protect them from any damage.

IMHO, by Fri, 3/15, assuming the Liberation of Iraq (and please quit calling it the "War" with Iraq) doesn't start in the meantime, the RATS will be deperate to find an easy way out of the quicksand they're in.
