President Bush, whose war plans have been delayed by Turkish intransigence and opposition inside the United Nations, still intends to make good on his 5-week-old promise to disarm Iraq within "weeks, not months."

"I can promise you that when he said 'weeks, not months,' he meant it," a senior administration official told The Washington Times late yesterday.

Let's hope weeks don't stretch into another couple of months.

It's more like a 5-month old promise.

"What are the perfect conditions? Well, that's for a bunch of military eggheads to sit and kick around. It's not really what the president does for a living."

Bush should fire whoever said this.

Blast Bush. He is taking way too long. I want to see bombs and blood and I want to see it now. All this preparation time, intelligence gathering time and time to get troops acclimated to the weather is just playing into the hands of Bush's detractors. We should have gone in with guns blazing on September 12.

Powell is a weanie traitor who loves the French more. If Bush doesn't start bombing right this second we will have to surrender to the frogs, install bidets in our homes and eat nothing but french fries.
