Well, he says he is, but then he just can't help himself. He feels we should get Saddam, and he is very put off by the anti-American dimwits. Yes, the album version of "Picture" features Sheryl Crow. I know that country radio has been playing a remixed version featuring singer Alisyn Moore, instead of Crow. Kid probably did this to break into country radio. He is one of the good guys. He has toured with David Allen Coe and Hank Jr., who is a good friend of his.
I think "Picture" is a great song, as is his entire latest album. I am surprised that that is the song from the record that has broken into country radio. There are alot of other cuts from his album that would fit in there as well.
Actually, "Picture" really is a beautiful song, particularly if you've been in a position to know what it's like to love someone, and not be with them for whatever (and in most cases, stupid) reasons.
The whiskey & cocaine part I found a bit refreshing because of the honesty there. Kid Rock basically comes out and says this is what it's like - and doesn't hide anything. He's always been like that with his songs, which is why I'm such a big fan of his. No, I don't think cocaine should be legal or any of that, but you have to love the honesty in his songs. I only hope that it doesn't destroy a very talented rocker.
