Not sure if this is true. Just get an email from a friend. Thought I'd pass it along. Can anyone confirm?
This is my first post. Please be patient with me.

I can't find announcement of a Muslim stamp in the new releases page
here but it wouldn't surprise me if such were planned.

I seem to recall this about a year ago. Haven't seen the stamps yet though.

The Eid stamp was issued September 1, 2001, and 75 million stamps were printed.
It was reissued October 10, 2002, and 35 million more were printed.

Azeezaly S. Jaffer, Vice President, Public Affairs and Communications for the Postal Service, who will dedicate the stamp (said) "The Eid stamp will help us highlight the business, educational and social
contributions of the estimated six to seven million
Muslims in this country whose cultural heritage
has become an integral part of the fabric of this great nation." I'll say. I think everyone now is very aware of the contributions of muslims living in this country to the fabric of its history. (Note he did not say Americans but merely described them as muslims located in America)

While reading a recent edition of Small Arms Review, I noticed with pleasure that Engel Ballistic Research has a quarter-page display ad which advertises "Precision Subsonic and Match Ammunition, Military and Law Enforcement Sales/CL2 Mfg. ALL PROJECTILES LUBRICATED WITH 100% PURE PORK FAT."
I found a lot of humor in this.

There's a difference between Muslims and Islamists (or "Islamic Fascism"). To lump them all together is like confusing Catholics with the IRA.
