The Wager between Landru and Mudboy Slim (Re: Terry McAuliffe)

The Terms:

Landru: They go after the punk, say, within the next year beginning today...Tuesday August 13th, 2002? "I'll FedEx ya a case of Hienekens, a case of Milwaukee's finest bratwursts (fresh from the elfs at Usinger's ~you'll have to supply your own buns & condiments...), & a box of Garcia & Vegas' best."

Slim: Yer on, my FRiend...beer, brats and stoagies will provide much motivation fer the late night FReepin' excapades!!

Landru: "If they *don't*?? I'd like to know what I'll be getting from the Mud Cave out there in ol' Virginny?"

Slim: Hmmmm...on the unlikely chance that our efforts fail, I'll gladly send you a case of Legends Ale (good stuff from the local microbrewery), a big ol' Smithfield Ham, and a box of Macanudos.

Slim: T-Mac's goin' DOWN!!

Slim: FReegards...MUD

The Status:

Today, December 13, 2002, is the four-month anniversary of this much-watched wager from Black IX. As the appointed judge, I, the fair and unbalanced Sultan, do hereby report that on Day 121 of this year-long wager, Terry McAuliffe has not been indicted. Therefore, Landru is winning, (unfortunately).

Mudboy Slim is beginning to feel like the Boston Red Sox.
