I see a posting on the FR Virginia page for Sunday the 23rd, yet there's no time stated. Did WRVA announce a time? It looks like there may be a conflict with the St. John's reenactment, so we'll have some decidin' to do.

George Allen in the news:

Allen, 51, is seen as ambitious and as a potential White House aspirant. Robb, whom Allen replaced, was seen similarly when he took on the leadership of the counterpart Democratic committee in his first Senate term.

While Allen has moderated the conservative rhetoric [oh, no!] of his years as governor, he still has a memorable style. He dips snuff, wears cowboy boots and appears in the new Civil War movie "Gods and Generals" in a cameo as a Confederate officer among soldiers singing a song at a campfire.

I didn't catch the time, I'm sure more details will come out. WRVA did't have anything yet on their website yet or I would have put a link. When they were talking last week, everything would be to suit Glen Beck's schedule, if he could come. They also said something about getting buses in from out of town. I think this event could amount to something, maybe an opportunity for FR to pass out some fliers or buttons or something.

Doors open at noon, festivities begin at 1:00 PM and last fer 90 minutes...we can still make it up to St. John's Episcopal and git a bite to eat afterward. Git there early, though, parking could get tougher the later you arrive. Richmond's wonderful this time of the year...the dogwoods should just be buddin' up...MUD
